Cart settings

The cart settings control how the cart behaves and appears to users, ensuring a seamless and customizable shopping experience.

Add to cart style

This setting determines the behavior when a product is added to the cart. Options include:

  • Redirect to cart: Takes the user directly to the cart page.
  • Show mini cart: Displays a mini cart overlay.
  • Update icon only: Updates the cart icon without any additional display.

Default: Show mini cart

Show dynamic checkout buttons

This option allows the display of alternative payment buttons, enabling customers to quickly purchase the product they are viewing.

Default: Enabled

Show order notes

Enables a field for customers to add notes to their orders during checkout.

Default: Enabled

Mini cart settings

These settings customize the buttons available in the mini cart.

Mini cart buttons

Choose which buttons to display in the mini cart:

  • Checkout: Directs users to the checkout page.
  • View cart: Opens the full cart page.
  • Both: Displays both options.

Empty cart settings

These settings help entice users to add items to their cart by customizing the empty cart page.

Icon

Allows you to set an icon for the empty cart page.

Heading and subheading

Customize the text displayed when the cart is empty to encourage users to continue shopping.

Button icon and text

Set the icon and text for the button that encourages users to browse products.

Specify the URL the button should link to, guiding users to continue shopping.

Choose whether the button link opens in a new tab.

Default: Disabled

Button style and layout

Customize the appearance and layout of the button with options like primary, secondary, extra large, plain, small, and small secondary styles, as well as icon positions.

Cart announcement

This section is used to provide reassurance to customers, such as a security guarantee or free returns policy.

Announcement icon and text

Set an icon and text for the announcement to be displayed in the cart.

Default icon: Lock Default text: Secured checkout

Free shipping information

These settings display information about free shipping thresholds to encourage larger purchases.

Show free shipping information

Enable or disable the display of free shipping information.

Default: Enabled

Threshold

Set the minimum purchase amount required for free shipping, displayed in the user's local currency.

Default: 40
